The Oceania Nautica is a classic, %FCompact cruise ship with a personal atmosphere and a particular focus on fine dining and destination-oriented travel. The ship, which is approximately 181 metres long, can accommodate around 670 guests and, thanks to its comparatively small size, is able to sail routes and call at ports away from the major cruise hubs.
The suites and cabins are furnished in an elegant and homely style. The range extends from inside and outside cabins, through Veranda staterooms and concierge-level accommodation, to penthouse, vista and Owners Suites. As part of the OceaniaNEXT programme, the Nautica has been extensively modernised and features redesigned cabins and public areas.
Cuisine also plays a central role on the Nautica. A varied international menu is served in the Grand Dining Room. The Polo Grill offers classic steakhouse dishes, whilst Toscana specialises in Italian specialities. At the Terrace Café, guests can enjoy a relaxed alternative with both indoor and outdoor seating areas. Waves Grill by the pool and Baristas round off the dining options.
The Aquamar Spa + Vitality Centre offers a range of wellness and treatment options, as well as a fitness area. The pool deck features a swimming pool, hot tubs and sunbathing areas. A traditional library provides a quiet retreat. Other meeting places include Horizons, with its panoramic views, as well as various bars and lounges.
In the evening, there is a choice of live music, shows and various events. The entertainment programme is deliberately kept low-key. Major leisure attractions are not the main focus – instead, the Nautica concentrates on a peaceful life on board, personalised service, high-quality dining and the destinations visited.
Thanks to its size, the Nautica is particularly well-suited to longer and varied itineraries. In November 2027, following a comprehensive refurbishment, she will begin a new chapter within the Oceania Cruises fleet as the Oceania Aurelia.
Conclusion: Ideal for couples, connoisseurs and experienced cruise passengers who prefer smaller ships, personalised service, high-quality dining and varied, destination-focused voyages in a relaxed atmosphere.
